Terms of Use

Challenging Anxiety: Practice Ladder Builder. Last updated October 10, 2026.

Who it's for. This tool is a guide or starting point for trained clinicians. It does not replace clinical judgment, is not medical advice, and is not for emergencies.

Your license. The OCD & Anxiety Institute grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use this tool, and to print or save its output, for your own clinical work with your own clients.

What is not allowed. You may not copy, reproduce, redistribute, sell, sublicense, frame, or scrape the tool, its challenge library, instructions, or design; build a competing or derivative tool, app, or product from them; remove copyright or other notices; or use the content to train or prompt AI systems for redistribution.

Client information. The tool does not store client information. You are responsible for any files you save or print and for following the privacy laws and policies that apply to your practice.

Shared challenges. If you share a challenge with the Institute, you confirm it contains no client details and give the Institute permission to review, edit, and include it in the library without payment. Submissions are reviewed before being accepted, and not all are added.

Ownership. The tool, challenge library, text, and design are © The OCD & Anxiety Institute. All rights reserved. Names and logos are trademarks of their owners.

No warranty. The tool is provided "as is." To the fullest extent allowed by law, the Institute is not liable for any loss or harm arising from its use.

Changes and contact. These terms may be updated; continued use means you accept the current version. These terms are governed by the laws of Pennsylvania. Questions: muniya@muniyakhannaphd.com.

How client information is protected

This tool does not store any client information. Clients, ladders, and practice logs exist only on this open page while you work. They are not sent to The OCD & Anxiety Institute or anyone else, and they are not saved in the browser. When you close or refresh the page, they are gone.

You decide what to keep. Save client file downloads a file to your own computer, Print gives you a paper copy, and Export log (CSV) creates a spreadsheet. Those copies are part of your own clinical records, kept wherever you keep other client records and protected the same way.

Your part. Use a code for each client rather than a name or initials (for example "C-104"). Save files to a secure, password-protected location that follows your practice's privacy policies.

Your own challenges and worries. Challenges and worries you write and save to your library are kept only in your local browser on this computer. They are not sent to the Institute or anyone else, and they stay until you clear your browser data. They won't appear in other browsers or on other devices. Keep them general and don't include client details.

Sharing a challenge with the Institute. If you choose Share with the Institute on one of your own challenges, only that challenge's text and settings are sent, along with your email if you add it. Shared challenges are reviewed by the Institute before they are accepted, and not every submission is added to the library. Never include client names, initials, or other identifying details.

Newsletter sign-up. The email you give to get access is used only for the Equipped & Empowered newsletter. You can unsubscribe anytime. It is never connected to any client information.

This tool is a guide or starting point for use by trained clinicians and does not replace clinical judgment or your own legal and compliance obligations.
